MOONLIGHT BOB MYERS

COMS CH 77.

SAIL PLAN : As this is a "Do as you please event" all I can offer is that you should arrive at Alderney harbour on the Slack part of the Tide.

This trip was proposed by Bob Myers who would like to sail in company with his wife Lura also attending. So this trip does not have any programe and is totally open with respect of what you to do. Picture by Alan Clifton.

Tide Data: The tidal data for the trip is given in the file below:
The only times of tides that are valid are in green highlight. It would seem that approach to Alderney on the 29th or 30th would be 18:55 or 20:10 against a flood tide . The approach on the ebb would be 12:35 for 29th and 13:40 for 30th. Fortunately the tides are Neaps. So it is a very early start for an EBB Tide. A better start for the Flood tide but the tide will be foul on the approach.

A depature on the 7th Aug at 07:35 on the flood may see you home by 21:00 hrs at best.
Please cross check all data as I may well have got it wrong.
