INTERNAL VIEWS: Work started to refurb internal cabins.
ENGINE BAY: Conversion from 7 hp petrol to 9.7hp diesel.
MOORING ARRANGEMENT: Connection to Mooring Buoy by 10mm chain as supplied by RNSA and Mooring line 20 mm supplied by me. Buoy is on a swivel and connected to Large ground chain by 15mm riser. All maintenance of the Buoy down is done by RNSA. The 10 mm chain and Mooring line are seized around the large cleat in the Anchor Locker and kept in place by the red pickup Buoy line. No boats have been lost from RNSA moorings due to mooring failure.
Mast and rigging: Mast was lowered before the start of 2018 season. Top pulleys replaced. New Nav light and VHF Ariel fitted. All Standing and running rigging replaced.
TENDER AND OUTBOARD: Tender refurbished to improve anti scuffing by removal of plastic piping and then mounting carpet pads down the side. Lighter and works better.
